In this chapter, we are building a Technology Enabled, Digital First, Furniture Brand.
A brand that reaches consumers in new ways. Enables them to discover, get inspired, narrow, select, purchase, receive, install and celebrate their workspace project in entirely new ways.
My role is to manage all Digital Experiences for the brand. That covers things like:
- Building a great team - I'm lucky to have a great team of internal direct reports and external partners and vendors. My first responsibility is to constantly monitor these relationships and ensure that everyone knows our goals, our metrics, what is expected of them, get out of the way and remove obstacles that prevent them from making progress.
- Defining, Building and Maintaining our technology stack - (web & mobile platforms, commence, crm, marketing automation, analytics, etc).
- Manage our Web and Mobile Sites, Stores and Apps - Growing revenue, Funnel Management, Optimizing conversion, managing the overal experience and learning from various analytics and instrumentation systems we have in place.
- Leverage the best 3D Visualization Technologies across all our platforms - Web & Mobile in a scalable and sustainable manner.
- Streamline Business Processes to Improve Customer Experiences - Using value stream maps to define opportunities to build a leaner business. Use a combination of open source and custom software tools and services to lower the friction of doing business with us.
